AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED Rilis: 4 Februari 2008
Lensa Micro NIKKOR baru untuk fotografi close-up dan umum Nikon Corp mengumumkan lensa AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED dengan fitur internal Silent Wave Motor. Lensa mikro baru ini dapat untuk memfoto jarak dekat 1:1 sesuai ukuran sebenarnya tanpa membutuhkan aksesoris tambahan. Untuk memastikan kualitas gambar terbaik pada keseluruhan jarak objek dari makro sampai dengan tak terhingga  sebagai bagian dari seni, fitur optik dan teknologi Nikon sesungguhnya, yang tergabung. Desain Internal Focusing (IF) mampu memfokus lebih cepat dan lebih halus. Dua lensa asperikal sebagai pengkoreksi aberasi sperikal dan kabut sekeliling lensa. Memberi lapisan Nano Crystal secara dramatis mengurangi cahaya tak perlu dan bias cahaya yang terjadi akibat pantulan. Juga ditambakan elemen kaca ED yang mengurangi aberasi kromatik untuk mendapatkan resolusi dan kontras yang tinggi. Seluruhnya merupakan faktor pendukung untuk ketepatan reproduksi foto pada AF-S Micro NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED. Komponen Silent Wave Motor (SWM) terpasang pada body lensa untuk kecepatan, kehalusan kerja autofokus dan pendukung yang praktis dan di desain ringan. Mode Fokus termasuk M/A (Manual-prioritas Auto) untuk memudahkan pemindahan antara autofokus dan manual focus dengan tanpa jeda waktu saat lensa dalam proses fokus. 9 bagian lempengan bulat bukaan diafragma menciptakan background buram menjadi natural.
